It's been 20 years since I last winterrized a boat. If memory serves me correctly, back then all we would do is: add fuel stabilizer on last day on water, top off tank on way home, change engine oil, transmission oil, and then the marine antifreeze. I can not remember how I adminstered the antifreeze. Do you remove the t-stat and pour it in the hose, or do you just suck it up through the water intake bypass and wait for it to come out of the exhaust? |

The Flush Pro was installed on the boat when I purchased it. 1996 Malibu Sunsetter 320 Monsoon. I guess my main question is, if I just run the antifreeze through, will it damage the t-stat?

The answer to your question is no... There are different ways to Winterize a boat, here's how I do it... I drain all the water out of the block, hoses, exhaust manifolds, shower and heater if equipped... then put the pink anti-freeze in thru the Flash Pro... I usually put five gallons in and leave it in the block over the winter.

Thanks Oz. It's been awhile and I wanted to make sure that I did it right.
